Dr. Zhao provides the following oral surgery procedures: 

• Simple extractions. Extractions could be necessary for multiple reasons: non-restorable teeth due to decay, gum disease, trauma, etc. In some cases, extractions are done for orthodontic reasons to allow room for the remaining teeth to be straight. Simple extractions are usually performed under local anesthesia and complications are limited. 
• Surgical extractions. Such as impacted wisdom teeth, fractured root tips, etc. Usually, surgical extractions involves opening the gum and jaw bone. Surgical extractions generally require longer procedure time and delicate post operative cares. Each case of surgical extraction is unique and should be discussed in detail prior to the procedure. • Gum surgery. Periodontal surgeries are delicate procedures. Dr. Zhao provides various types of grafting and gingivectomy surgeries. Success for periodontal surgeries are both skill dependent and patient dependent. Speak with Dr. Zhao to see if gum surgeries are the right solution for you.
